The Global Esports Summit 2023 and Tencent Esports Annual Conference was set to take place in the vibrant city of Shenzhen, China, from July 14 to 15, 2023.

Marking the latest step in supporting the development of virtual sports within the Olympic Movement, the establishment of the Esports Commission, chaired by IOC Member David Lappartient, who led the IOC Esports Liaison Group.

Between September 29th and October 2nd, 2023, Daniel Cossi had the exclusive privilege to had experienced the most honorable moment in the history of the esports, by witnessing esports officially as a modality celebrating the Olympic medal, since its birth as a regular global sport!

Morocco becomes the HUB of Digital Sports in Africa. The momentous occasion brought together leaders representing recognised federations and associations from various African countries. The inaugural meeting convened to discuss the establishment of the African Confederation of Digital Sports and chart a collective path towards advancing esports in Africa. A total of 41 countries, including Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda, among others, were among the pioneering nations present at this significant event.

WORLD ESPORTS CONSORTIUM – WESCO and GLOBAL ESPORTAINMENT SUMMIT - GES formalize an agreement
international collaboration. The agreement signing ceremony will take place at GES23 in Barcelona and will be the base for the joint development of activities and assets for the promotion and progress of the ecosystem esports & entertainment internationally.
